Real drainage work, straight from our job records — what we found, what we did, and how we proved it. Every photo below is from the job itself. Names and addresses stay private; the work speaks for itself.

Brunswick

A collapsed terracotta line, fixed without wrecking the garden

Completed November 2025 · led by Marko

What we found: the old terracotta drain had collapsed and the main lead junction was close behind it — the disconnected pipework was eroding the ground around it a little more with every use.

Brunswick West

Recurring blockages, fixed for good

Completed December 2025 · led by Marko

What we found: the camera showed multiple dislodged pipe sections holding water between joints — the classic recipe for a drain that blocks again weeks after every clear. We jetted it clear and were straight with the owner: on a line in this condition, clearing alone would not hold.

Tree roots versus a boundary trap, 2.4 metres down

Completed January 2026 · led by Marko

What we found: tree roots had cracked the boundary trap open at 2.4 metres deep, and the lead-off back to the house was back-falling onto a 45-degree bend that had likely been glued in the wrong orientation when it was first installed — a restriction that had been collecting trouble for years.

A rear sewer renewal, 1.8 metres deep

Completed September 2025 · led by Taylor

The job: a complete renewal of the sewer line at the rear of the property — a 1.8-metre-deep trench from the house to the boundary shaft, with the old deck carefully dismantled for access.

A full sewer renewal, end to end

Completed August 2026 · led by Byron

The job: a complete sewer drainage renewal — the old line replaced end to end, from the fixtures inside the home through to a new connection on the council sewer main at the rear, excavated at 2.4 metres.

The collapsed boundary trap under the driveway

Completed September 2023 · led by Byron

What we found: the CCTV inspection from the boundary trap and the overflow gully showed the trap to the mains had collapsed, leaving the lead-off junction under water for roughly six metres of line.

Three faults, one fix: 16 metres of new sewer main

Completed July 2025 · led by Byron

What we found: the camera run from the inspection opening showed a collapsing connection under the side path, a failing junction off the boundary trap beneath the driveway, and cracks elsewhere that were holding — for now.

South Yarra

A common sewer under a South Yarra apartment block, fixed for good

Completed April 2026 · led by Byron

What we found: the camera went down the shared sewer serving the block’s apartments and found two problems stacked on top of each other. The original cast iron had corroded so heavily inside that the bore had closed to a fraction of its size — rough, rusted walls that caught everything that flowed past, which is why the block kept blocking no matter how many times the line was cleared. And at ten metres, where the cast iron joined the original clay, tree roots had forced their way into the junction and matted right across the pipe.

The stormwater line that was soaking the subfloor

Completed April 2026 · led by Byron

What we found: the downpipes had been upgraded at some point, but all that water still discharged into the original clay stormwater line under the house — blocked solid with leaves, seeping at the joints, and quietly saturating the subsoil beneath the home.

The team, in the thick of it

Drainage is dirty work. Here's ours.

No stock photos, no staging — just our plumbers where the work actually happens: in the trench, in the mud, and at the car wash afterwards.
